MKC™ is a premium instrument-bag brand from Taiwan, born out of Monk Custom's passion for crafting high-quality guitar and bass bags. Our team is made up of real-life musicians, which gives us a working player's insight into product design — and a simple standard: every MKC™ product has to surpass what the industry considers good enough.
What we make
MKC Musical builds gig bags and carry gear for working musicians, in four series:
- AIR NINJA — our flagship line: understated, ninja-quiet exteriors around multi-layered semi-rigid protection, built for musicians who fly. It includes the AEG and DEG double cases, which carry two guitars in one bag.
- SESSION — the working musician's workhorse: 1680D water-repellent shells with organized pockets for a tablet, cables, and sheet music.
- HIPSTER — stylish everyday gig bags with a removable rig bag for pedals and accessories.
- ToGo — our entry line: waterproof Oxford fabric and 20 mm multi-layer foam at an honest price.
Beyond gig bags, we make the Musician's Backpack and accessories like the Safe Strap.
Designed the hard way
Our double guitar cases took a year of rigorous prototyping before we perfected the Bee Pollen Husk structure — a design that lets two guitars travel in one case without touching, and without extra bulk. That is the kind of problem we like to solve: real friction from a musician's life, resolved with intention and elegance rather than shortcuts.
